At Thornley Dance Academy, we are passionate about inspiring confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance. We provide high-quality training in a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential, regardless of age or experience. Our dedicated teaching faculty combine over 30 years of professional expertise with a genuine commitment to helping each dancer and studio member grow in skill, ability and confidence. Whether dancing for fun, fitness, or aspiring to perform and compete, our classes are designed to nurture talent, build lasting friendships, and create unforgettable experiences both in and out of the studio. 

We offer a comprehensive timetable of weekly classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acrobatics, National, Contemporary, Lyrical, Street Dance, Commercial, Adult Tap & Ballet, Heels & Cabaret, and S.E.N.D Inclusive Dance & Movement classes. All pupils have the opportunity to gain formal qualifications accredited by our affiliated examination boards - ISTD, ABD & Acrobatic Arts - ensuring technique and performance skills are instilled into all aspects of their dance training.

Here at TDA, we pride ourselves on providing many performance opportunities throughout the year, and all pupils of the academy have the pleasure of performing in our annual showcase, taking part in local live performances, and attending competitions and festivals.
